Get Your Camera Ready: Have your camera ready on our roadtrip combined with a relative short hike to Brufjell, Jøssingfjorden and Sogndalsstrand. Enjoy the beautiful costline with fantastic beaches. See the special rock formations in Magma Geopark. The tiny place Sogndalsstrand by the ocean. We drive through the Jøssingfjord, where you will be able to stop and take pictures of the house under the rock, before ending up in Åna-Sira with a short, but advanced hike to Brufjell.
Tour Brufjell & Jøssingfjorden: We are up early, for a 8 hours return roadtrip, taking you to Sogndalsstrand, Jøssingfjorden and Åna-Sira – the starting point for hiking to Brufjell. Along the way, we are driving along some of north Europe’s best beaches.
You should not have a fear of heights claimbing into and down to Brufjell.

Physicality: The hike to Brufjell is approximatly 5 kilometres long. Depending on how physical shape and experienced, the round trip takes 2-4 hours. For this hike, You need to be in normal good physical shape before heading out on this mountain hike. The hike will have some very steep parts. In some places, you have to pull yourself up and slide down with help of wire/ties, so it is a demanding hike even for experienced hikers.
Look and Learn: You’ll hear the history of Brufjell, Jøssingfjorden and the surroundings.
Lunch Included: Enjoy snack on Jøssingfjorden before heading out to Åna-Sira for the hike. Then we tak a copious lunch in a grill-hut in Åna-Sira when finished hiking
Shop: At Sogndalsstrand, Jøssingfjorden and Åna-Sira you could buy som souvenirs and something to drink/eat.
Educational: Along the way you’ll learn of history, geology, flora and faun.
We’ll Pick You Up: We pick you up and drops you off at your hotel.
Shoes: Closed-toed shoes only. Terrain is rocky and might be slippy.
Optional: For those of you that are experienced hikers, we recommend the rough hike to Brufjell. For all others, relax at our small-farm, feed our chickens, play som crocket or do some fishing for salmon or trout
